to your first note.

1. Download the APK

On your Android phone, tap Download KLIPNOTES.apk. Open the file from your browser’s Downloads or your Files app. The file is 41,615 bytes (about 41.6 KB).

A browser may show a general file-type warning for an APK. Check that you started the download from this page and that the filename matches. Continue only if you trust this source. A normal download warning is not the same as a warning that malware was detected.

2. Allow the source, then install

If Android says installation from this source is not allowed, choose Settings, then enable Allow from this source for the browser or file manager you used. Return to the installer and tap Install. After installation, you can turn this permission off again under Android Settings → Apps → Special app access → Install unknown apps. Names and paths vary by phone.

Some devices or regions have additional developer-verification or managed-device restrictions. If installation is blocked, contact us with the exact message. This guide does not ask you to bypass those restrictions.

3. Keep Play Protect enabled

If Play Protect offers to scan an unfamiliar app, allow the scan to finish. If it identifies the app as harmful or blocks it for security reasons, stop and email our support address with the warning text and your Android version. Crop out personal information if attaching a screenshot.

We do not claim that a warning is automatically a false alarm, or that this beta is risk-free. Do not disable Play Protect or select an override to get around a harmful-app warning.

4. Enable floating notes

Open KLIPNOTES, tap Enable floating notes and allow Display over other apps. This is what makes notes float. It is separate from the permission to install an APK. Android may also ask to allow notifications for floating-note controls.

Choose Create → Note or Checklist, save it, and tap Pin to screen. Open another app to see it. Drag the title bar to move it; tap Edit to change its contents without going back.

Already using KLIPNOTES?

Back up your notes through Menu → Back up notes. Install this KLIPNOTES 1.0 APK over the earlier KLIPNOTE 1.1 or 1.2 app without uninstalling. It keeps the same package and signing certificate. The first KLIBNOTES app used a different package and requires manual copying. If Android reports a signature or package conflict, stop and contact us.
