Using KLIPNOTES

These terms cover the KLIPNOTES Android beta and this website, provided by Sleek Edge Tech Solutions, Nigeria. Please read them before downloading or using the app. If you do not agree, do not install or use it. Questions: sleekedgetechsolutions@gmail.com.

A free beta, supplied directly

The current Android 1.0 beta is free to download. It is distributed as an APK outside Google Play and has not been presented as reviewed or approved by Google or Apple. Features may change, errors may occur, and device compatibility can vary. Future availability, pricing and release dates are not guaranteed. Any future paid offer will state its own price and terms before a purchase.

The APK is a signed development/beta build. A signature or checksum identifies a release; neither guarantees safety or store approval. Keep Android security protections enabled and follow the installation guide. Stop if your device reports a harmful app or a security block.

Permission to use the app

We give you a limited, non-exclusive permission to install and use the unmodified app for lawful personal or business note-taking. KLIPNOTES’s software, name and design remain owned by their respective rights holders. You may share this download page; do not impersonate the publisher, distribute a modified APK as an official release, or use the app unlawfully. Nothing here restricts rights that applicable law gives you, including permitted security research.

Your content and backups

Your notes remain yours. You are responsible for what you write and choose to share. We do not claim ownership of your notes. The app stores them locally and has no automatic cloud backup in this version. Export important notes before uninstalling, clearing storage, changing phones or performing an update. We cannot restore content we never received.

What floating notes can do

Floating notes require Android’s display-over-other-apps permission. System screens and protected apps may hide them. Manufacturer battery controls may stop the service. KLIPNOTES does not detect or move launcher icons, provide guaranteed reminders, or restart itself automatically after reboot. It should not be relied on for emergency, safety-critical or time-critical alerts.

An App Store version is planned, but no date or feature parity is promised. Android and iOS have different platform capabilities.

Availability and responsibility

We aim to keep the app and download page useful, but do not promise uninterrupted availability, compatibility with every device, or error-free operation. To the extent allowed by law, the beta is supplied as available without additional warranties.

Nothing in these terms excludes mandatory consumer or data-protection rights, or liability that cannot legally be excluded. We are not responsible for failures caused by modified or third-party copies, your device settings, or external services, except where the law makes us responsible. Please tell us about problems so we can investigate.

Feedback and external services

Feedback is optional and is handled as described in our Privacy notice. Avoid sending confidential information or other people’s personal data unnecessarily. External websites, email services and file destinations have their own terms. Google Play, Android and App Store are trademarks of their respective owners; their mention does not imply affiliation or endorsement.

Updates, stopping use and disputes

Updates may be offered through this page. The direct APK does not include an automatic update service. Read updated terms before installing a later version; material changes apply prospectively, subject to applicable law. You can stop using the app at any time and uninstall it after exporting anything you want to keep.
